Bus Tours
The Original Hartstone Pottery Experience
Learn first hand what it takes to bring a mug from a brick of clay to your table with our group tour experience. Enjoy a walking tour of our Zanesville, Ohio manufacturing facility, and find plenty of shopping at our 18,000 square foot Factory Store. You can even choose to decorate your own piece of pottery. We are only five minutes from I-70 and close to downtown Zanesville hotels and restaurants. We look forward to sharing our love of pottery with you!
The Hartstone Pottery Experience Program includes:
- Special Tour Group Discounts!! Tour Leaders Save And Earn Even More!! Receive a 20% discount on your purchases and pass along 10% of the discount to your tour guests. As a thank you, you will receive the remaining 10% as a store credit on the entire amount of your tour group’s purchases. *(Contact Dawn below for full details.)
- Free Factory Tour! Personalized attention to your group that includes a production tour of our facilities. Enjoy the skill of our talented craftsmen and artisans as they produce hand-painted stoneware. Please allow approximately 1 hour for your group to take the tour.
- Free Door Prizes! We will provide an item to be used as a door/game prize during your visit to Hartstone Pottery.
- Free Gratuity Package! All of our tours include a special gratuity gift for the bus driver and tour coordinator.
- Paint Your Own and Create a Hartstone Original! After you've seen our potter artisans in action, we're sure you'll want to have the unique experience of decorating your own Hartstone pottery. For a nominal fee, guests can decorate their own piece of our stoneware during their visit. Our decorators will work with you and your group, giving a brief lesson about how we paint our unique designs and providing individual attention to our "newest" decorators, young and old. (Reservations required and based upon availability.)
- Make it an Event! Reserve our Factory Store for your own “After Dinner Pottery Shopping Experience.” We will host a private party with beverages and snacks as you and your guests shop privately at our Factory Store after hours. Perfect for a club, bus tour or other group looking for cocktail or evening events instead of sitting in the hotel. (Minimum of 10 guests, reservation required and based on availability.)
Schedule your group or bus tour today!
Group Tours of 25 or more should schedule a week in advance for private tour dates and times. Tours for smaller groups can be made with less advance notice. All Hartstone Pottery tours and amenities are based on availability. We request that all children be accompanied by an adult.
